Anwar Altaqi is the Oil & Gas Bulletin Director, Managing Partner at Insight Advisory Group-Washington DC and a non-resident fellow at Orient Research Center-Dubai. He is an analyst on energy issues with focus on US-Golf energy relations and policies.
Altaqi started his career as an engineer in the Oil and Gas and Petrochemical industry, then held multiple positions in different fields including engineering, energy policies and petroleum business strategic analysis. His analysis tackles energy markets and technology development from geopolitical and economical integrated prospectives.
Altaqi has worked and managed oil and gas projects in many countries such as United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kazakhstan, Egypt, and United States of America.
Caroline Quinn is a Researcher and Editor with Insight Advisory Group and Editor at Oil and Gas Bulletin (a publication of IAG). Prior to joining IAG, Caroline interned at the US Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF), where she worked with the Middle East Policy Analyst to report on violations of religious freedom on behalf of governments and non-state actors in Syria, Iraq, and Lebanon. From 2015-2016, Caroline was a Boren Fellow in Oman, studying Arabic intensively and translating short stories and texts. Caroline attended graduate school at the University of Chicago’s Center for Middle Eastern Studies. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Smith College, where she graduated magna cum laude.
